This excellent old portrait photo is only one we have showing our ancestor's oldest sibling, her brother John C. Cohan. The photo itself indicates it was taken at Cabinet Studios [by M. Wolfe] in Dayton, Ohio, but the date is not indicated. We can make an educated guess that it was taken toward the end of John's life sometime during the 1880s. Perhaps the studio itself is still in existence and would have a record!
