A family mystery photo for many years, this old photograph held a key to finding out more about our Davis family history. Only recently has research uncovered some clues as to who we are looking at in this unlabelled photograph. According to a descendant of the Cacy family, this picture was taken in Sapulpa, Creek County, Oklahoma Territory in the early 1900s.
Currently, we believe the man on the left side of the doorway is John Zaddock Cacy, for whom the store is named. On his right side is his wife, Rhoda Cline, and on his left, his daughter. Next to his daughter, on her left, is Nancy Elizabeth Davis, believed to be the sister to our Elijah Lee Davis. Other people in this picture are believed to be members of the extended Cacy family..
