This is the only known photograph of Elijah Lee and Mary Lavinia (Gibson) Davis. The original has no indication of date, but Mary passed away in March 1893, at the age of 26, so it was probably taken in the early 1890s. From her image, we can guess this was taken at a later date than the previous picture, shown sitting with her father, James Ambrose Gibson.
As we can see, this photo didn't make it to the present in very good shape, but we are thankful to have at least this one picture, as it gives us a reasonably good idea of what this couple looked like.
