This very nice portrait in their later years shows Francis Eugene "Frank" and Neva Lorraine (Swartout) Delp. The original does not indicate when or where this was taken, but we can make an educated guess. Neva passed away in 1961, so the photo was probably taken in the late 1950s somewhere in California.
This photo is found in a little booklet entitled "the Tree of the Family Delp." In the back, it indicates that Neva had begun the project of listing all her family, as well as Frank and Neva's parents, but had passed away before its completion. Her oldest child, Ruth Ethelyn (Delp) Picklum finished it. At the end, Ruth writes "I hope that someone - sometime - will feel led to use it as a basis for a more expanded history." Done! And posthumous thanks to Ruth and her mother for putting this together.
