This old photo is labelled as being Elijah Lee and Verna Agnes (Miller) Gibson. We have no information on when or where this picture was taken. Elijah Lee was born 29 May 1881, and Verna was born 9 August 1900. Their first child was born 25 October 1919 in Osage Co., Oklahoma. So we can speculate this photo was taken in Osage Co., Oklahoma between 1915 and 1920.
An interesting fact, realizing the extent to which families in times past intermarried, is that Verna was the first of her siblings to marry into 3 different generations of the Gibson family. Younger sister, Lola Blanche, married William Ambrose Davis, son of Elijah's older sister, Mary Lavinia (Gibson) Davis. Younger brothers, Aaron Audra and Reas Edward, married sisters, Della Mae and Minda Frances Gallamore, respectively. The Gallamore sisters were the daughters of Mattie Lavinia (Davis) Gallamore, herself the daughter of Elijah's sister, Mary, and brother to the above mentioned William Ambrose Davis.
