This is a very nice portrait of the family of Elijah Lee and Verna Agnes (Miller) Gibson. The little girls, Lillian Leah and Vera Elsie, were born February 1921 and 3 May 1922, respectively. Later, their youngest daughter, Mary Beatrice, was born on 15 January 1925. So we can speculate this portrait was taken between 1923 and 1924, probably in Osage County, Oklahoma.
Lee passed away in 1943 and is believed to be buried in Hinton, Caddo Co., Oklahoma. Vera was remarried to Walter Talkington and passed away in 1981 in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., Kansas.
