George Paine and Cornelia Joy (Pfennighausen)Phinney

This fine portrait is of George Paine Phinney.  The original does not indicate when or where it was taken, but it is safe to assume it was taken in Kansas City.  From his appearance, we can make an educated guess that it was taken in the early 1920s, probably in the family home at 124 S. Belmont.

As a young man, George had his own business, Pioneer Finishing, so we had many portraits made over the years.
