This fine portrait shows the Welborn and Farris sisters. The original contained no information on when and where it was taken, so we can speculate it was taken in the late 1890s or early 1900s, perhaps in Denton Co., Texas
We know that in the upper left is Ethel Louise Welborn and in the lower right is Anna Welborn, who married the brother of the Farris sisters, William Buford Farris. The photo is labelled as Nellie and Lula Farris, but we do not know which is which.
