This fine portrait shows the younger children of David and Mary, Olin B. and Ethel Louise Welborn. We have no information on when or where the picture was taken. We can speculate it was taken in the early 1900s in Denton Co., Texas.
Both Olin and Ethel are found on the 1910 U. S. Census living with their father, David, in Scurry Co., Texas. Their mother had passed away sometime before 1900. Olin passed away in Scurry Co., Texas in 1912 and was then buried in Denton Co., Texas. It is believed he never married.
Ethel married Winfield Forman Fowler in December 1913 and lived a full life. The author would welcome the opportunity to correspond with any descendants.
